Child Safety Standards

Effective Date: October 13, 2026

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

These Child Safety Standards are Odnix’s published rules against child sexual abuse and exploitation. They apply to the Odnix platform, including the Odnix mobile applications, the website at odnix.org, messaging, posts, short videos (Omzo), stories, profiles, comments, communities, and any other feature or user-generated content (collectively, the “Platform”).

These standards are public. Anyone can read them without an Odnix account.

1. CSAE and CSAM Are Prohibited

Odnix explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Odnix has a zero-tolerance policy for both.

CSAE means content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextortion of a child, trafficking a child for sex, sexualization of a minor, and any other sexual exploitation of a child.

CSAM means any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. That includes photographs, videos, livestreams, and computer-generated or illustrated imagery. Offering, requesting, linking to, or explaining how to obtain CSAM is also prohibited.

For these standards, a child or minor is anyone under 18 years of age. The prohibition applies across the Platform, including where an account is limited to adults and where Odnix requires users to be 18 or older.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Odnix to:

  • Create, upload, store, request, solicit, share, stream, or distribute CSAM
  • Link to, trade, or offer CSAM in messages, profiles, posts, comments, stories, or Omzo videos
  • Groom a child, including building trust with a child in order to facilitate sexual contact or the exchange of sexual imagery
  • Sexualize a minor, including content or conversation that depicts, encourages, or promotes the sexual abuse of children or portrays a child in a sexual way
  • Sextort a child, including threatening or blackmailing a child with real or claimed access to intimate images
  • Traffic, advertise, or solicit a child for sexual exploitation
  • Direct sexual content or sexual conversation to anyone under 18
  • Share a child’s identifying information for a sexual purpose

Any other content or conduct that exploits, endangers, or sexually abuses a minor is prohibited.

3. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Report suspected CSAE or CSAM when you see it on Odnix. Do not download, forward, or attach CSAM. Identify where the content is so Odnix can find it.

In the app and on the website

Signed-in users can report a post (Scribe) or an Omzo from that content. Open Report, choose Inappropriate Content or Other, and state that the report is about child sexual abuse, exploitation, or CSAM. Add the username and any detail that helps locate the content.

By email

Anyone may report with or without an account by emailing safety@odnix.org. Use this address for messages, profiles, stories, accounts, and any child-safety concern that the in-app report does not cover.

Include what you have:

  • The URL, or a description of where the content appears
  • The username or profile involved
  • The date and time you saw it
  • A short description of the concern

safety@odnix.org is Odnix’s child-safety contact for these reports.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement.

4. Enforcement

Odnix reviews child-safety reports and gives priority to reports of CSAE and CSAM. When Odnix has actual knowledge of CSAE or CSAM on the Platform, Odnix acts under these standards and applicable law. Action can include:

  • Removing the content
  • Suspending or permanently terminating the account and associated accounts
  • Keeping the information needed to report the matter and to support a lawful investigation
  • Reporting confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority, as described below

Confirmed CSAM is removed. It is not handled with a warning alone. Odnix may also remove related content and terminate accounts used to continue conduct that these standards prohibit.

Odnix complies with the child-safety laws that apply to the Platform. Odnix is operated from India. Those laws include the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) and the Information Technology Act, 2000, including the provisions that prohibit publishing or transmitting material depicting children in sexually explicit acts.

When Odnix has actual knowledge of CSAM, Odnix removes it and reports confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority. A report may be made to:

  • The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), through the CyberTipline, when that report is the appropriate channel
  • Indian law enforcement and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, when Indian law applies or the matter is connected to India
  • Another regional or national child-safety or law-enforcement authority that is the right recipient

Odnix cooperates with valid legal process. Report and account information is retained when the law, a safety investigation, or enforcement of these standards requires it.
